The GI Cancer Institute is proud to launch our new Engage Community Forums to provide information on Gastro Intestinal (GI) cancers, our research and discuss the impacts of GI Cancer.

More than 23,000 Australians are diagnosed with GI Cancers each year (cancer of the oesophagus, stomach, liver, gall bladder, pancreas and bowel) which inevitably leads to many unanswered questions.

Engage will provide a forum for GI cancer patients, survivors, carers and family members to listen to information from clinicians and survivors who understand the challenges, practical information and an opportunity to network with others.

*Engage is an initiative of the GI Cancer Institute representing the Australasian Gastro Intestinal clinical Trials Group (AGITG).
Community information forums were held in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney in Oct-Nov 2013.
The Consumer Advisory Panel members of AGITG and staff of the GI Cancer Institute planned these forums.  More Forums will be held during 2014,
