Survivors as Teachers

Since 2010, Cancer Voices has held tutorials and workshops with health and medical students, cancer survivors, researchers and policy/program managers.

Our flagship program has been the small group tutorials with 3rd year Medical students at Adelaide University. Over several semesters, on a weekly basis, one of our volunteers offers to tell their story and answer student questions about the lived experience of a cancer survivor.

If you would like to learn more about these programs, or even volunteer to tell your story, then please register your interest with us. If you have already registered and logged in, then please join in our  Survivors as Teachers interest group.
