Walking with Cancer Voices
Walking is great exercise for the body and mind. Participants get to talk to each other about anything and everything, including their cancer challenges if they wish to share them with a small friendly group.
Cancer Voices usually leads two walking groups each week.
When/Where:
Fridays, 1.00pm – Walk ‘n’ Talk with Researchers, Centre for Cancer Biology on North Terrace.
Tuesdays, 9.30am – Walks in Belair National Park.
What to wear? Comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses/ sunhat/ sunscreen, casual/comfortable attire.

Walk ‘n’ Talk with people with lived experience of Cancer and Cancer Researchers in the CBD
We walk along the River Torrens at 1.00pm most Fridays, starting from the Centre for Cancer Biology.
The walk takes about 45 minutes. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses/sunhat/sunscreen and casual/comfortable attire.
We meet at 1.00pm at the Centre for Cancer Biology on North Terrace. The walk loops back via the North bank of the river then returns to the start location.
Walks in Belair National Park with other cancer survivors
Meet at the old golf club / holiday park car park, 9.30am on Tuesdays.
The walk takes about 1 hour. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses/sunhat/sunscreen and casual/comfortable attire.
