Improving Our Health Systems & Services

Navigating cancer care can be overwhelming – there is not one health system, but many disconnected systems. At Cancer Voices SA, we advocate for systemic improvements to ensure better experiences for those affected by cancer.

For this reason, in addition to our work partnering with researchers, we also do policy based advocacy. 

How We Make a Difference

Listening & Understanding – We collect real stories from people affected by cancer to identify gaps in care.

Advocating for Change – Our members:

• Serve on strategy, policy, and governance committees
• Write letters of influence to key decision-makers
• Submit recommendations to government inquiries
• Present at conferences & workshops
• Foster networks for discussion & action

We do this as volunteers, driven by the desire to make a real impact.
