Executive Team
Cancer Voices SA is led by an elected, volunteer Chair with an Executive Team of up to 10 active members who are in frequent communication via email, in addition to our Executive Team meetings. Election of the Executive Team usually occurs at our AGM in November, although illness of key members has, on occasion, forced this to be delayed.
Vikki joined Cancer Voices in 2018 and became Acting Chair in early 2021.
Agnes is a drug information pharmacist who has been working as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of South Australia for the last 10 years. She has a strong research interest in the quality use of medicines, quality of medicine information for health professionals and consumers, medicines policy and regulation.
In 2003, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was the start of a survivorship journey where her professional interests and her health activist involvement helped her to understand the new challenges of living with cancer.
In 2009, she began to collaborate with Cancer Voices SA to encourage and support the recognition of the experiences and views of cancer patients, their carers and supporters and to promote their participation in all aspects of cancer health care and research.
